Involvement[edit section | visual editor]

Act One[edit section | visual editor]

Lakrissa usually guards one of the secret entrances into the sanctuary above the Secluded Chamber, in the Grove.

If the party speak with her, Lakrissa responds with a sarcastic-pessimist attitude, saying their chances of survival are low. If the interacting party member obliges her, they can bet 10 Gold on whether they survive the trip to Baldur's Gate.

If Lakrissa survives after the goblin leaders are killed, she attends the celebration and converses with AlfiraAlfira. Lakrissa assures the player character that she has not forgotten of their bet (if they made one), but reminds them her people have not reached the city yet. The player character can then tell her to forget the bet and invite Lakrissa and Alfira to a drink instead, once they reach the city.

If the party travel to the Rosymorn Monastery Trail or the Shadow-Cursed Lands before resolving Kagha'sKagha's ritual the Rite of Thorns, the tieflings are expelled from the Grove and Lakrissa's corpse is among the pile of refugees near the bridge to the Blighted Village.

Act Two[edit section | visual editor]

If Lakrissa survives Act one she is later captured and moved to Moonrise Towers Prison with several other tieflings. Rescuing them from the prison advances Rescue the TieflingsRescue the Tieflings. If Alfira also survives Act One, reuniting them confirms they are romantically involved, and Alfira rewards the party with the Potent Robe.

If Lakrissa is not freed from Moonrise Towers before the NightsongNightsong is dealt with, or if the party visiting the Last Light Inn after releasing the prisoners but before Lakrissa makes it safely to the inn, then her corpse is in the Oubliette, together with those of all the other prisoners.

Act Three[edit section | visual editor]

If Lakrissa survives to Act Three, she moves to the Elfsong Tavern where she waits tables. If the party bet her in Act One, party members with the Folk HeroFolk Hero background are granted the inspiration A Bet Is a BetA Bet Is a Bet. If Alfira also survives, the two of them are on the roof and where they share news of their relationship with the party.

Act One[edit section | visual editor]

If the Grove prepare for a goblin raid during Act One, Lakrissa and Kaldani attempt to build a barricade together:

  • Lakrissa
    Right. Should hold together.
  • Kaldani
    Should?
  • Lakrissa
Well. We won't be long finding out, I suppose.
  • Lakrissa
Goblins better bloody show up, after all this effort we're putting in.
  • Kaldani
Yup. Murderous is one thing, but late? Beshaba pass over.
  • Lakrissa
You think it'll make any difference?
  • Kaldani
    What?
  • Lakrissa
    All this. Getting ready, like.
  • Kaldani
    I... I don't know.

If the Grove prepare for a goblin raid during Act One, Lakrissa and Rikka visit Dammon for supplies:

  • Rikka
I do need some armour, you know.
  • Lakrissa
    Me too.
  • Dammon
Can't outfit all of you at once.
  • Dammon
    Anything else?
  • Lakrissa
    Yes. A stiff drink.
  • Rikka
    Make that two.
  • Rikka
    I'm worried. I don't think we're ready.
  • Lakrissa
    Ready as we'll ever be.
  • Dammon
Lakrissa's right. Can only do what we can.

Act Three[edit section | visual editor]

  • Alfira
    How's your shift going?
  • Lakrissa
A rich arsehole sent his drink back three times - so I spat in his last one.
  • Alfira
    Lakrissa!
  • Lakrissa
    He said it was 'delicious'.
  • Alfira
Rent is due soon. I was thinking I could do some busking?
  • Lakrissa
No need, I picked up some extra shifts.
  • Alfira
You didn't have to do that.
  • Lakrissa
I know - I wanted to. You just focus on your music.
  • Alfira
    We made it, Lakrissa.
  • Lakrissa
Damn right - and not even pissy druids or cursed shadows could stop us.
  • Alfira
    Only because I had you.
  • Lakrissa
Nah - you'd have been fine without me. But the company was welcome.

Notes[edit section | visual editor]

  • Lakrissa sells camp supplies, but is not marked as a trader on the map. In Act One she can only be traded with the first time she is spoken with. In Act Three she can be traded with normally.
