Boot of the Giants is a Giant barbarian class action that allows them to send enemies flying with a swift kick.

Description

Try to kick a target away. Your chances depend on your Athletics, and are higher if you're hidden or invisible.

You can kick a target up to twice the weight that ShovingShoving them would allow.[See Notes]

  • Like ShoveShove, this ability involves a contested Athletics check. Refer to Shove roll for details on how this is calculated.
  • This ability uses your unarmed damage and can be increased by anything that normally increases unarmed damage such as:
  • This ability cannot target enemies who are too heavy or immune to shoving such as EtherealEthereal creatures. Thus, the kick cannot even be used to deal damage against such targets.
  • As with shove, the maximum weight of a creature that can be moved is Strength score × Multiplier.
    • For Boot of the Giants, this multiplier is 24 always.[1]
    • For Shove, the multiplier is 12 normally, 5.1 when ReducedReduced, and 28.2 when EnlargedEnlarged.
