Githyanki Stone Disc

The Githyanki (Faction), is the galactic kingdom of the Githyanki race that is spread across the Astral Plane. It is a martial and meritocratic society, with no regard for blood ties and a strong focus on combat.

Background

The Githyanki were founded by Gith, who freed them from their oppression under the Illithid Empire, and forged them into a militaristic society determined to eliminate all the Mind Flayers that once ruled over them. Seeking an alliance with Tiamat, she ventured into the Nine Hells, only to mysteriously disappear and be succeeded by Vlaakith I who forged an alliance with Tiamat in return for the alliance of Red Dragons.

The Githyanki are currently ruled by Vlaakith Vlaakith CLVII, a descendant of the original Vlaakith who became a Lich to continue her rule eternally.
