Act One[edit section | visual editor]

Vu’un and Raider Zar'anRaider Zar'an guard the Hatchery of the Crèche Y’llek. He stands watch at the low rocky cliff near the entrance of the hatchery.

If spoken to, he resents that strangers are allowed to wander the Crèche's Hatchery, but nonetheless warns them about nearby traps. If the interacting party member is githyanki, Vu’un explains how gith eggs are nurtured in the hatchery, and that Varsh Ko’kuuVarsh Ko’kuu is responsible for both tending the eggs and constructing the hatchery's defenses. Additionally, Vu'un warns the party not to approach the egg.

Vu'un becomes hostile to the party if they try to sneak past him to steal the Githyanki Egg and trigger a trap, if they choose wrong options when speaking with Ko'kuuKo'kuu, or if they are permitted to approach and take the egg, but instead crush it (the latter option is not available for githyanki player characters).
