      • In a Clear Area Clear Area, they are spotted immediately, without a Stealth check.
      • Lightly Obscured Lightly Obscured, a Stealth check is made every turn (approximately every 6 seconds when outside of combat or turn-based mode). The DC for this check varies based on the creature(s) whom the character is attempting to sneak past (see passive perception).
      • Heavily Obscured Heavily Obscured, a Stealth check is not made unless they get close to that creature.
    • When hiding within the range of a creature's Darkvision Darkvision or Superior Darkvision Superior Darkvision:
    • Hiding characters who do not enter any creature's line-of-sight cone are never spotted, regardless of their Stealth skill; Stealth checks are not made until entering a line-of-sight cone.
    • A Critical Fail on Skill Check (1d20) does not count as a 1 in the calculation against passive perception but instead causes the character to be spotted immediately.
  • Used to maintain Greater Invisibility Greater Invisibility when performing an action while under its effect. The DC for this check begins at 15, then 17, then increases by 1 for each subsequent check.
