Ki Resonation: Blast is a Way of the Open Hand monk free action that allows you to detonate the ki in anyone resonating with you. The explosion hits the creature and any enemies nearby. Any additional targets hit by the explosion that are also resonating will create additional explosions in a chain reaction.

Description

Detonate the ki of a creature Resonating Resonating with you, hitting the creature and anyone within 5 m / 17 ft of it.

The resulting explosion causes any nearby creatures Resonating with you to also detonate.

Notes

  • Though the ability says it hits anyone within range, it does not damage party members or summoned creatures. It does, however, damage neutral creatures.
  • The Dexterity save uses the character's spellcasting ability modifier of the last class the character took a first level in. This may not be Wisdom if the character multiclassed from Monk to another class.
