Lady Freida Oberon is a Lady of Baldur's Gate, present at the ceremony of Gortash's ordaining as an Archduke of the city.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Before the ceremony she sits among other patriars on the pews in central nave of the Audience Hall.

After the ceremony ends, Lady Freida moves to the northern nave of the Audience Hall and stands near the table with refreshments at its far end. She engages in a casual conversation with Lady Beatrice Provoss, discussing Gortash's low-born origins, information on the Cult of the Absolute available in patriars' libraries, and the need to call the City of Candlekeep for help. If spoken to, she will toast to Gortash and say she sees the bright perspective of Baldur's Gate.

If the player chooses to confront Gortash, they will find Lady Oberon along with all other invited guests and their retinue slaughtered in the Audience hall. Her body, unlike all others, can be found at the rocky footing of the Wyrm's Rock, to the right of the drawbridge from Wyrm's Crossing.
