Eshvelt Guthmere

Lady Eshvelt Guthmere is a patriar of Baldur's Gate who is present for  Gortash's ordination as the Archduke of the city.

Involvement

Act Three

Before the ceremony Lady Eshvelt sits among other patriars on the pews in central nave of the Audience Hall.

After the ceremony ends, she stays near the throne, listening to several other guests discussing the Steel Watch with Gortash and  Ulder Ravengard, but not taking part in the conversation. If spoken to, she deems Gortash as someone who can stand up to the followers of the Cult of Absolute.

If the party confronts Gortash, they can later find Lady Eshvelt slaughtered in the Audience Hall, along with all other invited guests and their retinue.
