Fist Ivarus is human wizard and a member of the Flaming Fist. He can be found in Wyrm's Rock Fortress in Act Three.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Ivarus together with Jagic Fist Jagic, Saunder Fist Saunder, and Creekrider Fist Creekrider guards the Wyrm's Rock Prison underneath the fortress. Ivarus is constantly patrolling the prison, walking from the end of the cell section to the Storage room door, past the entrance. None of the other guards ever change him on his route.

If the party attempt to free Florrick Florrick as part of the Free Counsellor Florrick Free Counsellor Florrick quest, Ivarus potentially spots the attempt and needs to be dealt with.

If the player character comes to their senses in the prison cell after tasting Hoots Hooligan Hoots Hooligan's special hooch, Ivarus greets them mockingly and offers to feel themselves homey, hinting on them having heavily caroused around after blacking out.

Ivarus expresses utter devotion to his duty, but even more he is loyal to Enver Gortash Enver Gortash personally. If Gortash is defeated, Ivarus plainly claims that his own life has no more meaning.

If it is higher level than the spell slot you used to Counterspell, you must make a check using your spellcasting ability[See Notes] to prevent it. The check's difficulty is equal to 10 plus the level of the spell you are trying to counter.

This spell can be cast while you are Silenced Silenced.
