Ivarus

Fist Ivarus is human wizard and a member of the Flaming Fist. He can be found in Wyrm's Rock Fortress in Act Three.

Involvement

Ivarus together with  Fist Jagic,  Fist Saunder, and  Fist Creekrider guards the Wyrm's Rock Prison underneath the fortress. Ivarus constantly patrols the prison, walking from the end of the cell section to the Storage room door, past the entrance. None of the other guards ever change his route.

If the party attempt to free  Florrick as part of the ⁠Free Counsellor Florrick quest, Ivarus potentially spots the attempt and must be dealt with.

If the player character comes to their senses in the prison cell after tasting  Hoots Hooligan's special  hooch, Ivarus greets them with mockery, tauntingly offering they make themselves at home, after having heavily caroused around after blacking out.

Ivarus expresses utter devotion to his duty, but even more he is loyal to  Enver Gortash personally. If Gortash is defeated, Ivarus plainly claims that his own life no longer has meaning.

Damage: 8~64

8d8⁠Necrotic

Deals 8d8Necrotic to a target. Plants take maximum damage from this spell, and have Disadvantage on the Saving throw against it.

CON Save

 Conjure Elemental: Fire Elemental ( + )

The fire elemental can use  Smouldering Touch,  Erupting Cinder, and can make your foes  Burn.

 Range: 18 m / 60 ft

 Counterspell ( + )

Try to stop a spell being cast.

If it is higher level than the spell slot you used to Counterspell, you must make a check using your spellcasting ability^{[See Notes]} to prevent it. The check's difficulty is equal to 10 plus the level of the spell you are trying to counter.

This spell can be cast while you are  Silenced.

Shoot a green arrow that bursts in a spray of acid. Deals 4d4Acid damage immediately and 2d4Acid damage at the end of the target's next turn.

If the spell misses, the target still takes half the initial damage, but no damage at the end of its next turn.

Become able to see  Invisible creatures, and possibly reveal them to others.

AoE: 9 m / 30 ft (Radius)

 Slow ( + )

Alter time around up to 6 enemies to Slow them. They won't get far, they can't do much, and they're easier to hit.
