Watcher Guardian's battle cry

Involvement[edit | edit source]

During the initial battle for High Hall, a large force of infiltrated Absolutist cultists coming from the Upper City Sewers destroyed and routed The Watch away from the keep, forcing what's left of the Watch to flee. Faced with severe casualties, what remains of the disposable City Watch forces available to retake High Hall are in the form of a small squad of Watcher Guardians under Constable Valeria's orders, and an incohesive group of panicked Watchmen attempting to escape the High Hall's courtyard.[1]

These Watcher Guardians can be summoned with the Gather Your Allies Gather Your Allies variant, The Watch The Watch if Valeria has been saved and is an ally present for the final battle. Summons a male half-orc, a female tiefling, and a female gold dwarf to fight at the party's side.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Some members of this archetype may have slightly different passives, movement speed, weight, and size due to being members of different races.
  • These summonable Watcher Guardians have identical stats to the named Watchmen seen running away from the courtyard, those being Gyordi Gyordi, Ebber Ebber, Fry Fry, and Goodge Goodge.
    • However, these named Watchmen' armour resemble that of the Breastplate +1 dyed in blue, brown, and black colours, rather than the armour specifically designed for The Watch that the Watcher Guardians and the Dead Watchmen wear.
  • There are several other Watcher Guardian dead bodies strewn throughout the courtyard of High Hall, some of them being dyed in inconsistent schemes of blue and yellow, and blue and red hues.
