Sharran Novice

Sharran Novice is the title given to initiate followers of ⁠Shar.

Involvement

Eight Sharran novices are in the Cloister of Sombre Embrace during the encounter with  Viconia DeVir. If the party side with Viconia or if  Shadowheart takes command of the cloister, the party will gain the Sharrans as allies during the final fight. This grants the ability  Nightbringer's Shadow Adepts which summons two Sharran novices and two Sharran Fidelians during the final confrontation.

Combat

Sharran novices are basic, low-level fighters who cannot use any actions beside the standard set of  Dash,  Jump, and  Main Hand Attack. However, they can still be dangerous due to their passive  Shadow Ambush combined with Sharran Fidelians casting  Darkness on the party.

The novices summoned with  Nightbringer's Shadow Adepts are permanently  blessed, have  Protection from Energy: Fire, and  Protection from Evil and Good.
