Evasion is a Monk and Rogue passive feature that makes you receive less damage from spells or effects that require a Dexterity Saving Throw.

Description

Your agility lets you dodge out of the way of certain spells. When a spell or effect would deal half damage on a successful Dexterity saving throw, it deals no damage if you succeed, and only half damage if you fail.

How to learn

Notes

  • This does not do anything to mitigate any additional non-damaging effects that the triggering spell/effect might apply.
  • Although the description references "certain spells", this applies to any effect that allows a Dexterity saving throw to halve the damage, including things that are not spells such as Smokepowder Satchels.
