Involvement

Act One

Dion confronts a githyanki patrol on a bridge near the Mountain Pass entrance at X: -146 Y: 569. Dion demands the githyanki drop their weapons, but is swiftly rebuked by their leader  Sarth Baretha just before  Qudenos flies overhead and incinerates him and the other Flaming Fists using dragon flames; this also destroys the nearby bridge.

Notes

• Dion cannot be looted, as he dies during the cutscene and his corpse cannot be found.
• Killing him during dialogue before the githyanki kills him causes him to disappear, and skips the cutscene altogether, forcing the party into interacting with Kith'rak Voss.
• None of the Flaming Fist Mercenary corpses by the destroyed bridge resemble him or any of his squad.
