Corliss Undertump
Involvement[edit | edit source]
Act One[edit | edit source]
When the party first approach the monastery gate at X: 73 Y: 40, a cutscene plays. and are moving a group of halfling cultists (, Corliss, and ) to the Crêche for interrogation by the Captain. Corliss attempts to flee and is shot in the back. If the raiders are allowed to proceed, the monastery gates are magically locked behind them. Choosing to attack them leaves the gates open.[1] There are several other routes inside, including via the Firewine storage and Gremiska den.
If approached from the parapet above the gate via the path leading from the ledge into the Monastery through the barricade at X: 33 Y: 29, the cutscene does not play and the cultists scatter and escape. Moving on to the parapet triggers the raiders to attack the cultists, but the party can enter combat as close as X: 67 Y: 44, just inside the room above the gate, to jump down and prevent the raiders from attacking the cultists.
