Lann Tarv is a bugbear merchant that can be found on the ground floor of Moonrise Towers, just to the right of the northern entrance. He will not offer most of his inventory for sale until passing the introduction scene further within Moonrise Towers.

Getting lower prices[edit | edit source]

The player can get better prices from him by suggesting that he won't sell many wares with his attitude, then, when he asks the player to prove their work, passing an ability check to impress him with their deeds. Doing so increases his attitude to the maximum (100).

Soul Coins[edit | edit source]

If you approach Lann Tarv with Karlach in your party, there is an opportunity to receive three Soul Coins left with him on behalf of Zariel, on condition that you listen to him tell the stories behind each of the three souls they contain. Although this is a devil's bargain, accepting these coins does not have any immediate negative effects or approval changes.
