Susdera
Susdera is a necromancer[1] of the Cult of Myrkul. She is atop Moonrise Towers, and assists Ketheric Thorm in battle against the party.
Involvement[edit section | visual editor]
If the party proceed to the rooftop of Moonrise Towers after completing Find Ketheric Thorm's Relic (i.e., freeing or killing the Nightsong and thus ending Ketheric's immortality), a cutscene with him is triggered followed by fight against him and his allies. Susdera is then one of Ketheric's allies in battle against the party.
If the party proceed to the rooftop of Moonrise Towers before completing Find Ketheric Thorm's Relic, Susdera stops and admonishes them to turn back. Answering "I go where I wish" causes her and all eight Necromites to turn hostile. Ketheric Thorm does not become hostile unless a party member gets too close to him. However, he cannot be defeated this time because he is still immortal.
Unlike the Zealots, Adepts, and other members of the Cult of the Absolute, it appears Susdera and other Mistresses of Souls are fully aware of what the Absolute is and the religious hoax they're perpetrating.[2] This greater understanding (and accompanying disdain) is shared by the other high-ranking Myrkulite necromancers serving General Thorm, with Kressa Bonedaughter bemoaning the weak servility of the infected she is presented with, and Balthazar using the player character's worm-infested status as an expletive.

Notes and references[edit section | visual editor]
- ↑ Despite being named as necromancers at several points, all Mistresses of Souls are Evocation Wizards.
- ↑ When a party member talks to Radija, if they pass an insight check or try to link with her own parasite, it is revealed she does not have one and that she (along with Kressa Bonedaughter) views party members with scorn for being unwitting infected tools.
