Radija

“It is not your time yet, blessed one. The rooftop chapel is reserved for the General's private contemplation - save for those he chooses to ascend.„
Involvement[edit | edit source]
Act Two[edit | edit source]
Radija can be encountered outside the ornate door leading to the rooftop. If Ketheric Thorm is already on the roof, the party can ask for an audience with him, which she refuses.
Unlike the Zealots, Adepts, and other members of the Cult of the Absolute, it appears Sarabayle and the other Mistresses of Souls are fully aware of what the Absolute is and the religious hoax they're perpetrating.[2] This greater understanding (and accompanying disdain) is shared by the other high-ranking Myrkulite necromancers serving Ketheric Thorm, with Kressa Bonedaughter bemoaning the weak servility of the infected she's presented with, and Balthazar using the player character's worm-infested status as an expletive.
Radija hints that the Cult of the Absolute goes well beyond mind flayer infections. If passing a DC 14 Wisdom check, it is revealed that despite her high status, Radija bears no tadpole of her own and views True Souls with scorn for being unwitting tools.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- ↑ Despite being named as necromancers at several points, all Mistresses of Souls are Evocation Wizards.
- ↑ When talking to Radija, if passing an Insight check or trying to link with her own parasite, it is revealed that she does not have one and that she (along with Kressa Bonedaughter) views party members with scorn for being unwitting infected tools.
