Flaming Fist Archer

Flaming Fist Archers are rangers of the Flaming Fist found guarding and patrolling the streets of Baldur's Gate during Act Three.

Involvement

Act Three

Flaming Archers can be found throughout the entire city of Baldur's Gate, guarding strategic locations such as Wyrm's Crossing, Basilisk Gate, and Bloomridge Park. They can assist the party during certain public encounters, or fight against them should they be on the wrong side of the law.

Combat

Flaming Fist Archers are powerful ranger guards of the Flaming Fist capable of dealing large amount of AoE damage thanks to their high Dexterity and  Volley action.

Attacks and abilities

 Ensnaring Strike (Ranged) ()

Normal weapon damage Your attack summons thorny vines, dealing Weapon Damage and possibly  Ensnaring your target. Ensnared creatures cannot move and take 1d6Piercing damage at the start of each turn. An ally can use their Help Action to try and tear away the vines.

 Ranged Attack ()   –  Heavy Crossbow

Normal weapon damage Make a ranged attack with your equipped weapon.

 Volley ()

Normal weapon damage Fire a cascade of arrows upon nearby enemies.

• The Flaming Fist employ many different races. The stats in this article reflect Humans only.
• There is a generic female Gold Dwarf simply named "Fist" that is also a Flaming Fist Archer despite the different name. She only appears when the party is caught committing crimes away from any existing Fists in the Lower City.
• It is possible to acquire the Flaming Fist Archer's unique Leather Armour in Naoise Nallinto's room in Sharess' Caress. The Fist Archer armour's icon is identical to the default leather armour, leading to potential confusion.
