Act Three

Sister Franchot stands in the middle of reception room in the Wyrm's Rock Fortress, waiting for her case to be brought on before a Flaming Fist investigator. Her brother Bering Gahorst is accused of bumping a patriar while driving his cart on a road. Bering is very nervous about the upcoming trial and afraid of possible confinement. Although Franchot is trying to cheer him, it is clear she feels just as uneasy as he does.
