Lord Shattershield's Bodyguard

Lord Shattershield's Bodyguard is a halfling wizard who accompanies his master to the ceremony of ordaining  Enver Gortash as an Archduke of Baldur's Gate in Act Three.

Involvement

Lord Shattershield's Bodyguard is at the mess hall, on the first floor of the Wyrm's Rock Fortress. He came with his master,  Lord Rugger Shattershield, and while waiting for his lord to descend from Audience Hall, spends time with the retinue of other patriars.

If spoken to, he says that a bodyguard's job is a good work if one can find it. He tells the interacting party member that he would call Gortash whatever his master wants, as long as he is paid. He also tells the party not to tangle with him, because he might be small, but is able to fight back.

If the party confront Gortash, Lord Shattershield's Bodyguard moves to the Audience Hall and is slaughtered along with all other invited guests and their retinue.
