Lord Shattershield's Attendant is a rock gnome ranger who accompanies his master to the ceremony of ordaining Enver Gortash as an Archduke of Baldur's Gate in Act Three.

Involvement

Lord Shattershield's Attendant can be found at the mess hall, at the first floor of the Wyrm's Rock Fortress. He came with his master, Lord Rugger Shattershield, and while waiting for his lord to descend from Audience Hall, spends time chatting with retinue members of other patriars.

First time spoken to, he is discussing the Steel Watch with Lady Durinbold's Attendant and Lord Amber's Bodyguard, and the trio will ask the player's opinion on these automatons. He considers constructs a true miracle of engineering, and agrees with his lord's (and, by extension, Gortash's) opinion that the outsiders shouldn't be let in the city.

If spoken to afterwards, he calls himself a true Baldurian - born, bred and raised.

If the player chooses to confront Gortash, they will find Lord Shattershield's Attendant along with all other invited guests and their retinue slaughtered in the Audience hall.
