Notes[edit | edit source]

  • The imp is an unassuming but extremely dangerous foe, as its passive ability Caustic RetortCaustic Retort deals massive retaliatory damage upon any attackers.
  • Even though it is named Cursed Imp, Remove CurseRemove Curse does not do anything.
  • However, given its small stature, the imp can be easily shoved or thrown out of the ship into the water and dies. Presumably through drowning as imps can usually recover from being shoved into chasms.
  • Killing the imp cleanses the ship of its plague clouds, as well as curing any characters infected with sea plague from entering the ship and failing the CON save.
  • It has no special drops.
  • It always upcasts Ray of SicknessRay of Sickness at level 6, so it does 7d8 damage.
