Echo of Abazigal

Echo of Abazigal is a ghost of a blue dragon Bhaalspawn. His ghost is disguised as a dragonborn. He was one of the members of the Five during the Bhaalspawn crisis.

Overview

Backstory

In life Abazigal was once a Bhaalspawn and a member of the Five, which was an alliance between five powerful Bhaalspawns formed by Amelyssan, Bhaal's high priestess, that sought to slaughter their siblings in exchange for power. Like the rest of the Five, he was defeated by his sibling and fellow Bhaalspawn "Gorion's Ward" and their party at his lair.

When Bhaal was resurrected a century later after Abazigal's death, he brought him back as an Echo to serve in the Murder Tribunal along with Illasera, Sendai and Amelyssan.

Involvement

After completing Impress the Murder Tribunal and becoming an Unholy Assassin of Bhaal, Echo of Abazigal will appear in the main chamber. There he will be available to trade. He can be further questioned about The Five and his personal history.

If killed during the fight with Sarevok his  Bhaalspawn Essence: Abazigal will cause Sarevok to do maximum damage with all his attacks. Also, his stock cannot be looted after the fight, since he is a spirit and will thus disappear upon death.

Corresponds to LOW_MurderTribunal_Merchant. Abazigal cannot be pickpocketed normally.

Notes

• There is an exploit to pickpocket Abazigal. While talking to Sarevok, selecting the "I'm ready to be judged" dialog option results in a ghost of a character appearing, who was killed before. Switching to another character and pickpocketing the ghost, reveals all of Abazigal's inventory. Whether this is intentional or not is unknown. Failing the pickpocket check will turn the whole tribunal hostile.
