The Murder Tribunal (also known as Bhaalist Crypt) is a Location within the Undercity in Act Three of Baldur's Gate 3. It can only be accessed from Candulhallow's Tombstones which is north-east of the Elfsong Tavern at X: 74 Y: 25.

The Bhaalist Crypt's hall hosts members of a tribunal who can elect members of the Cult of Bhaal to become Unholy Assassins of Bhaal.

Neither fast travel nor resting is possible while SarevokSarevok is alive.

Entrance[edit | edit source]

Down the stairs from the hidden entrance in Candulhallow's is a sign declaring "Flaming Fists This Way!". Inside the recessed area beyond is a tripwire which triggers several barrels to drop down and explode. Around the corner is a chest with some alchemical ingredients.

Tribunal Antechamber[edit | edit source]

Beyond a wooden door is an antechamber, with three undead Death Knights: That Which GuardsThat Which Guards, That Which WatchesThat Which Watches and That Which LurksThat Which Lurks. See Infiltrate the Murder TribunalInfiltrate the Murder Tribunal for gaining entrance.

Hall of the Murder Tribunal[edit | edit source]

The main area of the Bhaalist crypt is the the hall where the murder tribunal is held. In the Judicial Seat at the far end of the hall is Sarevok AnchevSarevok Anchev, joined by the echoes of AmelyssanAmelyssan, IllaseraIllasera and SendaiSendai.

If the player character chooses to become an Unholy assassin, then the party can trade with Echo of AbazigalEcho of Abazigal.

Prison[edit | edit source]

There are cells in the north room containing a corpse with the note Dear Quil on it and a cell used by the jailers, with Dinner Planning pinned on a wall.

The cells can be unlocked via the Tribunal Prison Key found on a Keychain on the wall outside the cells.

Sarevok's Chambers[edit | edit source]

Between the main hall and the prison, a door leads east to Sarevok's personal quarters. Within, a page from Sarevok's book can be found in a desk, revealing Orin's incestuous ancestry.

Abattoir[edit | edit source]

Hidden behind a false wall is the Abattoir, currently holding ValeriaValeria and a trunk containing her belongings.
