The Morphic Pool is a Location within the Undercity in Act Three of Baldur's Gate 3. It can be entered by interacting with a boat at the Morphic Pool Dock in the Undercity Ruins. Travelling to this area passes a point of no return in the story: it is no longer possible to long rest, visit camp or access previous maps.

Brine pools[edit | edit source]

At the center of the area is a cluster of small unmarked brine pools in the ground X: -925 Y: 3758. Approaching this area, the party may recognize an ambush with a successful DC 20 Perception check.

Approaching the pools unstealthed triggers a large host of Intellect Devourers and Intellect Gluttons to ambush the party. The ambush can also be avoided by sneaking past the brine pools.

Locked Door[edit | edit source]

A locked door can be found at X: -895 Y: 3817. Droralias Dryselis's corpse lies behind this door. If Droralias' Teddy Bear is returned to her (by placing it on her corpse), companions may comment on it.
