Act One[edit | edit source]

Salazon guards the entrance to the Zhentarim Basement at Waukeen's Rest. When the party first approach, Salazon readies an attack at them. If the party saved Rugan Rugan in the cave, they can recite the passphrase to obtain peaceful entry. Otherwise, the party must pass an initial DC 10 Dexterity check followed by one of the following checks:
