Mephits are a non-playable race and type of elemental creature in Baldur's Gate 3.

About mephits

Ancient mud and ice mephits can be summoned using the spells  Conjure Minor Elemental: Mud Mephits and  Conjure Minor Elemental: Ice Mephits respectively.

Mephits have a Death Burst action and passive, which allows them to deal explosive damage in an area upon death. Each type of mephit has a different version of this feature dealing an appropriate damage type. These effects do not trigger if the Mephit is knocked unconscious.
