A Shadow is an Undead creature found commonly in Act Two. They are twisted remnants of humanoids that were transformed by the shadow curse. They are visually similar to Wraiths but are, in fact, in their own eponymous non-playable race.

Loot[edit section | visual editor]

Rather than dropping loot, a Shadow leaves behind a Shadow Vestige on death that contains a trace of the life it led before it became transformed by the shadow curse. Each shadow drops a unique vestige. The contained memory is spoken by the game's narrator when the vestige is interacted with.
