Bulettes are a type of Monstrosity and non-playable race in Baldur's Gate 3. They are armoured monsters that can suddenly erupt from the ground to strike.

The bulette's deep burrowing and powerful leap makes it an apex predator in nearly every terrain it finds itself in.
In-game racial description

About[edit | edit source]

Bulettes are extremely dangerous large monstrosities that burrow underground and erupt to unexpectedly attack their prey. They have natural armour in the from of thick layered plates over their body. Bulettes are normally native to hilly environments but can be found in a variety of locations. Bulettes are sometimes called Landsharks.

A Bulette's Territorial Territorial ability makes them prioritise other Monstrosity creatures. This can be used to the player's advantage to get bulettes to fight other creatures.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Glut can reanimate a bulette. It is one of the toughest and highest-damage creatures that Glut can control; however, due to its size it cannot use climbing apparatus like ladders and may have difficulty navigating tight areas.
  • Applying Bone Chilled Bone Chilled to the Bulette before it uses Burrow Burrow will prevent it from healing as it exits combat.
