Leave No One Behind is an achievement in Baldur's Gate 3 that requires the party to save all the Tiefling Refugees whenever possible. If the conditions are met, this achievement is awarded upon completing the game.

Act One

All the tiefling refugees in the Emerald Grove must survive, with the exception of Kanon Kanon as his death is unavoidable. This means the party must complete the Save the Refugees questline, siding with the tieflings throughout and, depending on the choices the party made, ensuring their survival against goblins and/or hostile druids. The Rite of Thorns must also not be completed.

See list to the right for a full name list of all tieflings that must be alive at the end of Act 1.

Special mentions

The below must all be accounted for before Defeat the Goblins is complete.

  • Nadira Nadira: Found at the top of the hill east of the gate, where she must be saved from a bugbear assassin. The encounter might not trigger if the party never approaches, effectively 'saving' her by ignoring her. However, the party may unknowingly get close enough to trigger the event, resulting in her death.
  • Rolan Rolan: Found in the grove with his siblings. He must be convinced to stay with the rest of the refugees due to events of Act 2.
  • Mirkon Mirkon: Found at the Secluded Cove. Once the party gets close enough to trigger the quest, Investigate the Beach, they must immediately save Mirkon, as leaving the area will cause his death. It can be advised to cast Sanctuary on Mirkon before starting the encounter. It is also possible to advance the plot sufficiently that the refugees have left prior to approaching the cove and triggering Investigate the Beach, which will prevent the party from saving Mirkon but will also not cause the achievement to fail.
  • Cerys Cerys will only appear in this act if Zevlor Zevlor has died, thus her appearance means the achievement has failed.
  • If the The Dark Urge is chosen as origin, Alfira Alfira must be knocked out non-lethally on the day their special long rest event will trigger. She is then replaced by a Dragonborn bard Quil Quil during Dark Urge's personal camp event. If successful, Alfira will not disappear from her position in the Emerald Grove.

Act Two

In Act 2, many of the tieflings are - unavoidably - either missing or dead. Refer to the list to the right to see who must be accounted for and kept alive for this achievement.

The Last Light Inn must not fall at any point. This includes keeping Isobel Isobel safe during Resolve the Abduction, where all tieflings must survive the raid, as well as ensuring Aylin Nightsong is saved in Find the Nightsong.

Special mentions

The below should be accounted for before the party enters the Shadowfell as part of the Find the Nightsong, with the exception of Zevlor and Mol.

  • Cerys Cerys: Found inside the Last Light Inn. Cerys can easily be mistaken for a member of the Harpers unless the party talks to her and learns that she was a member of the refugees who was busy scouting during Act 1. She must be kept alive through Resolve the Abduction just like the other Tieflings.

Deceased or missing

  • The following are temporarily missing, but will show up in Act 3:
    Silfy, Zorru

Act Three

Most of the surviving tieflings can be found in the refugee camps in Rivington, though some have made it into the Lower City.

At this point in the game, no major events endanger the refugees.

Special mentions

Missing

  • In addition to the list of missing tieflings in Act 2, Meli Meli cannot be found anywhere.

Bugs

  • Achievement may incorrectly unlock early if saving tieflings missed in a previous playthrough.
  • Arka's corpse may be found outside the goblin camp, regardless if the party successfully dissuaded her from seeking revenge. This may or may not impact the achievement as she can still be found alive in the grove.
