Elegis

Elegis is one of the tiefling refugees seeking shelter at the Emerald Grove in Act One. She becomes responsible for closing and opening the gate to the grove after Kanon's untimely demise.

Involvement

Act One

Elegis is responsible for opening and closing the gate after Kanon's untimely death. She is usually near the gate winch and war horn at X: 203 Y: 441.

If travelling to the Rosymorn Monastery Trail or the Shadow-Cursed Lands before resolving Kagha's ritual the Rite of Thorns, the tieflings are expelled from the Emerald Grove and Elegis's corpse can be found among the pile of refugees near the bridge to the Blighted Village.

If Minthara and her raiding party are primed to assault the Emerald Grove, Elegis is atop the ramparts, building barricades from the Emerald Grove's trees. Once the fighting starts, she moves away from the ramparts and joins the rest of the tiefling defenders in The Hollow.

Act Two

If Elegis survives Act One, her body can be found in the Shadow-Cursed Lands alongside a dead ox, not far from the road to the Mountain Pass, far away from the other tiefling refugees who died in the cultist ambush. Passing a  Perception check while inspecting her body reveals that they were gored. This can be also learned by reading her Refugee's Journal.
