Fallen Bhaalspawn

The Fallen Bhaalspawn is a corpse in the Temple of Bhaal in Baldur's Gate 3.

Involvement

If the  Dark Urge is not selected as an origin, a corpse labelled Fallen Bhaalspawn is next to  Orin's bed inside the Chosen's Room at the back of the Bhaal Temple, and interacting with it prompts the player character to remark, "Orin relished tormenting this poor soul."

The  Journal of Magthew Budj references Kressa's obsession with the "pet" she used for her experiments, and the plot to have it sent to the Nautiloid Ship can be found like it would be when the Dark Urge were selected as origin. Likewise, notes penned by the Dark Urge themself that refer to their collaboration with Gortash and a letter that berates Orin for her incompetence can be found regardless of whether the Dark Urge has been chosen as origin.

These facts lead to the conclusion that the Fallen Bhaalspawn was the Dark Urge when not chosen as origin and therefore has the same history and relationships as the origin character.
