Shadow Mastiffs are a creature and non-playable race encountered in Act Two.

Three Shadow Mastiffs appear out of the shadows alongside a Shadow Mastiff Alpha in the Ruined Battlefield, near X: -49 Y: 36, when the nearby ever-burning torches are destroyed. Another can possibly summoned via Retinue of the Vampire Lord Retinue of the Vampire Lord as part of the Gather Your Allies quest.

Overview

Often moving as a pack, these hounds of the Shadowfell slink from shadow to shadow, always on the hunt.
