Three Shadow Mastiffs appear out of the shadows alongside a Shadow Mastiff Alpha in the Ruined Battlefield, near X: -49 Y: 36, when the nearby ever-burning torches lit by True Soul Korliss are destroyed. Another can be summoned via as part of the Gather Your Allies quest.
