Shadow mastiff

Shadow Mastiffs are a creature and non-playable race encountered in Act Two.

Overview

Three Shadow Mastiffs appear out of the shadows alongside a Shadow Mastiff Alpha in the Ruined Battlefield, near X: -49 Y: 36, when the nearby ever-burning torches are destroyed. Another can be summoned via  Retinue of the Vampire Lord as part of the Gather Your Allies quest.

Sink your teeth into a target and possibly knock it  Prone.
