Bears are a non-playable Race in Baldur's Gate 3.

About bears

Juggernauts of the animal world, bears are capable of walking on their hind legs, hibernating during colder seasons, and absolutely ruining your mountain hike.

Bears are carnivorous mammals with stocky legs, long snouts and small, rounded ears. In combat, bears are notable for their large health pools and slashing claw attacks.

Bears can be spoken to using  Speak with Animals.  Beast Masters may summon a  Bear Companion, and  Circle of the Moons may turn into a bear with  Wild Shape: Bear. The companion Halsin has the unique ability  Wild Shape: Cave Bear.
