Bears are a non-playable Race in Baldur's Gate 3.

Bears are carnivorous mammals with stocky legs, long snouts and small, rounded ears. In combat, bears are notable for their large health pools and slashing claw attacks.

Bears can be spoken to using Speak with Animals Speak with Animals. Beast Master Rangers may summon a Bear Companion Bear Companion, and Circle of the Moon Druids may turn into a bear with Wild Shape: Bear Wild Shape: Bear. The companion Halsin has the unique ability Wild Shape: Cave Bear Wild Shape: Cave Bear.
