A Shadow is a Undead creature and non-playable race found commonly in Act Two. They are twisted remnants of humanoids that were transformed by the shadow curse.

About shadows[edit | edit source]

Resembling dark exaggerations of humanoid shadows, these undead feed on the vitality of the living creature they were once part of.

Shadow enemy variants[edit | edit source]

Shadow vestiges[edit | edit source]

Rather than dropping loot, a Shadow leaves behind a Shadow Vestige on death that contains a trace of the life it led before it became transformed by the shadow curse. Each shadow drops a unique vestige. The contained memory is spoken by the game's narrator when the vestige is interacted with.
