Gnome
Gnomes are a playable race in Baldur's Gate 3.
About gnomes[edit section | visual editor]
Gnomes are a small, long-lived race known for their sharp intellect, innate magic, and boundless curiosity. Distantly related to the fey,[1] their keen minds and natural mental resilience – known as Gnome Cunning[2] – allow them to parse complex arcane theory, master intricate engineering, or navigate danger with cleverness rather than brute force. Though many gnomes approach life with cheerful optimism and a delight in discovery, their culture is far from monolithic. In Faerûn, gnomes span a wide spectrum: from the inventive Gondian artificers of Baldur's Gate to the reclusive deep gnomes of the Underdark. Whether crafting bizarre contraptions, unlocking ancient lore, or fighting for survival in shadowy subterranean realms, gnomes rely on resourcefulness and ingenuity to leave an indelible mark on the world.
