Gut

Priestess Gut, also known as True Soul Gut, is a Goblin True Soul and follower of The Absolute who is found at the Goblin Camp.

Overview

Priestess Gut is one of the spiritual leaders of the cult. Together with Minthara and Dror Ragzlin she is one of three leaders of the goblins at the Shattered Sanctum.

Involvement

Act One

Gut can be found right after the entrance to the Shattered Sanctum. She can give the player the permanent bonus the Brand of the Absolute.

The party can make her go to her chapel to attack her or comply with her wishes. If the party complies, she will give them a potion to make them fall asleep, and wake up imprisoned. If the player character is an Elf, Drow or Half-Elf and they drink the potion, their  Fey Ancestry will prevent the potion from working and Gut will attack immediately. Additionally, a Paladin's resolve will enable a Constitution Ability check to resist the effects of the potion.

Should the party be imprisoned and fail the respective checks to free themselves, they will be rescued by a dwarven Warlock named Korrilla at the service of Raphael, who will stab Gut and instantly kill her.

When you are about to be hit by an enemy, use your Reaction to increase your  Armour Class by 5. You also take no damage from  Magic Missile. These effects last until the start of your next turn.

 Shocking Grasp ()

1d8 (1~8) Lightning damage

The target cannot use Reactions. This spell has Advantage on creatures with metal Armour.
