Four, threatening the party

Involvement[edit section | visual editor]

Act One[edit section | visual editor]

Four stands over the corpse of a dead adventurer along with two other goblin children. Despite his age, he proves to be overly aggressive, doling out threats to everyone who initiates conversation. If he is threatened in return, Rancer, Four, FiveFive, and EightEight attack the party. Killing any of the goblin children results in a quick surrender.

If the talking party member has War PaintWar Paint on their face, Four comments that they smell like they have been "kissin' a worg's backside".

Notes[edit section | visual editor]

  • Four is one of five numbered goblin children (alongside OneOne, ThreeThree, FiveFive, and EightEight) who can be actively fought and killed by the party in plain sight.
This is a rare exception to the game's standard treatment of minor NPCs; human and tiefling children can only be Knocked OutKnocked Out, and any narrative deaths they suffer (such as during the Raid on the Emerald Grove) occur strictly off-screen.
