The Last Light Inn is a previously abandoned inn, taken up by the Selûnite Cleric Isobel, then later the Harpers and Flaming Fists. It currently serves as a safe haven from the shadow curse, sheltered from Shar's magic by Isobel's moon shield.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Last Light Inn seen from Reithwin Town.

Once abandoned, The Last Light Inn was recently transformed into a refuge by the Selûnite cleric Isobel Isobel. It was later developed into a base of operations by the Harpers and possibly the Flaming Fists. It currently serves as a safe haven from the Shadow Curse, sheltered from Shar Shar's magic by Isobel's moon shield.

The inn can be accessed by crossing the bridge in the Ruined Battlefield of the Shadow-Cursed Lands.

Courtyard[edit | edit source]

The entrance to the inn's courtyard is secured by rudimentary barricades, manned by Harpers Darragh Darragh, Elifer Elifer, and Terradissia Terradissia. Out front of the inn is a yard with a fountain in the middle, filled with Harpers and a Flaming Fist; Essius Harper Essius and Ulthred Fist Ulthred can be seen holding a conversation should the Flaming Fists be present.

The barn and forge to the north houses Dammon Dammon and the Strange Ox Strange Ox, if they survived Act One. Killing the Strange Ox in the barn nets the Hat of Fire Acuity. Up the stairs around the side of the forge is a storage area with a rustic chest containing the Rippling Force Mail.

On the southern side of the courtyard is the Harper Talli Quartermaster Talli, who sells weapons and armour. If passing a DC 10 Persuasion check, she can be convinced to offer a free Supply Pack. This can be repeated multiple times for each party member.

A narrow path beside the guard tower leads down to an underpass by the river. Near the underside of a small bridge connected to the barn is Bex Bex, who takes part in the quest Rescue the Tieflings Rescue the Tieflings, should she have survived the events of Act One. Danis Danis joins her once he is saved from Moonrise Towers.

Ground floor[edit | edit source]

On the ground floor's main room are Jaheira Jaheira and the surviving tiefling refugees that managed to flee to the inn, including the trader Mattis Mattis by the entrance, their leader Cerys Cerys and Alfira Alfira by the hearth, and Rolan Rolan by the bar; any of which can give the party the quest Rescue the Tieflings Rescue the Tieflings.

In the southern portion of the room is Barcus Wroot Barcus Wroot at an alchemist's table, should he have survived Act One and the cat His Majesty His Majesty. Mol Mol can be found playing lanceboard with Raphael Raphael. If Astarion Astarion is present, he has a special interaction with Raphael, advancing The Pale Elf The Pale Elf.

The western room serves as the inn's bunk room and travellers' dorm. The door to the room is either guarded by Tumeril Tumeril, or remains unguarded should the Flaming Fists be present at Last Light. The room serves as a main base for Florrick Counsellor Florrick and the Flaming Fists if they are present. Also in this room is Art Cullagh Art Cullagh, an ancient but Condition Type Icon.pngUnconscious Flaming Fist essential for the Lift the Shadow Curse Lift the Shadow Curse quest; either interacting with Tumeril or J'ehlar Fist J'ehlar prompts the quest to start.

The north-western room serves as a private bedroom. Mirkon Mirkon and Bor Harper Bor can be seen chatting in it if the tiefling refugees are present. A loose plank in the room can be discovered through a DC 10 Perception check, revealing the Snowburst Ring.

If the tieflings in Rescue the Tieflings Rescue the Tieflings, and the deep gnomes in Rescue Wulbren Rescue Wulbren were rescued, the following characters join the others in the inn's main room:

 • Cal Cal joins Rolan at the bar.
 • Lakrissa Lakrissa joins Alfira at the hearth.
 • Lia Lia joins Rolan at the bar.
 • Nickels Nickels at a table next to the western room.
 • Nimble Nimble at a table next to the western room.
 • Wulbren Bongle Wulbren Bongle at a table next to the western room.

The following characters disappear from the inn depending on certain events:

First floor[edit | edit source]

Up the stairs is the upper part of the common hall, patrolled by a single Harper. Isobel's bedroom is situated through a door on the northern side, with a number of lore-related items and Selûnite gear such as the Selûnite Robe.

Docks[edit | edit source]

On the western side of the inn and beneath the ground floor are the docks, devoid of any boats. The docks are patrolled at all times by two dwarven Harper fighters and two tiefling Harper rangers. A wooden door at X: -52 Y: 144 leads to the cellar.

Cellar[edit | edit source]

The jail room located at X: 21 Y: -760 contains a hidden wall (with a smokepowder barrel behind it) blocked by a destructible spiderweb and a pile of crates that leads to a hidden room with a set of locked double metal doors. Past these double metal doors, there is a locked Heavy Chest at X: 43 Y: -740 that contains the Coruscation Ring.

There is another jail room located at X: 25 Y: -722, with another hidden wall (also with a smokepowder barrel behind it) blocked by a destructible spiderweb and a pile of crates. Going into the room, on the left side sits another destructible wall. Following the path leads to a secret Selûnite shrine occupied by a group of seven Meenlock Meenlocks, one of which drops the Covert Cowl.

Graveyard[edit | edit source]

Crossing the shore or small bridge on the northern side of the inn leads to a small burial area with the skeletal remains of several Harpers and Flaming Fists. A rough pile of rocks can be revealed east of the graveyard at X: -3 Y: 215 with a Perception Perception check, and then uncovered with a subsequent Strength check. Digging up this grave unearths a murdered Flaming Fist gnome and the Shield of Scorching Reprisal.

Harper funeral[edit | edit source]

Along the shore on the south side of the inn at (X: -57 Y: 109), a few cairns have been raised to honour fallen Harpers. Witnessing the funeral of Yonas Yonas and talking to Meygan Meygan awards Inspiration Icon.pngTragic Love for acolytes and Inspiration Icon.pngMemento Mori for entertainers. To receive the inspiration, Yonas' funeral must be witnessed before Marcus Falgor Marcus attacks the inn.

The party can also turn in Yonas' Harper Blade to Meygan, who offers a reward of Gold in return for this memento of him.
