Hangfar

Harper Hangfar is a Harper who patrols the northern side of Last Light Inn during Act Two.

Involvement

Act Two

Last Light Inn

Hangfar can be first encountered at the Last Light Inn, where he is patrolling the same northern side route of the docks area as  Naysa. Speaking with Hangfar reveals that he thinks some Harpers at the inn are under-equipped.

Resolve the Abduction

When  Marcus attacks the inn and attempts to kidnap  Isobel during ⁠Resolve the Abduction, Hangfar usually fails the saving throw and is  Impaled for the remainder of the battle. If Isobel is not saved, Hangfar and everyone in Last Light Inn turn into a  Shadow-Cursed Undead, save for  Jaheira.

If Marcus is defeated, talking with Hangfar after the battle lets him mention to the party that he played cards with Marcus, and thought they were friends.

Assault Moonrise Towers

If Isobel is saved at the Last Light Inn and the  Nightsong has been freed from her cage and heads for Moonrise, Hangfar follows Jaheira to Moonrise Towers. However, Hangfar is killed during the fight against Absolute forces before the party arrive. His corpse can be found within Moonriser nestled in a nook between a wall and the staircase leading down from the entrance.

Damage: 5~8

1d4 + 4⁠Piercing

Charge forward and attack the first enemy in your way, possibly pushing them  Off Balance.

Notes

• Hangfar wears a set of armor identical to the  Scale Mail armor set, but with the shoulder pads from the  Scale Mail +2 set.
• As of Patch 6 and after, despite having Extra Attack, Hangfar is not able to attack twice during his turns.
