Grim Visage.png

Grim visages are an undead non-playable race found in Act Two. They haunt the Reithwin Tollhouse alongside its tollmaster Gerringothe Thorm, muttering madness the whole time. Each grim visage resembles a floating skull filled with billowing green smoke.

About

These skulls spawned from Gerringothe Thorm's twisted psyche. Manifestations of her worst flaws, they keep the coins of her protective armour intact.
in-game racial description

Each visage guards a portion of the accursed coins that provide Gerringothe with her power. Each visage destroyed will, in turn, remove 100 of her maximum hit points and a piece of her Coin Armour. Outside of combat, each visage is protected by Shadow Visage Shadow Visage, preventing the party from preemptively weakening Gerringothe.
