Flying Ghouls are a type of undead creature and a non-playable race.

About Flying Ghouls[edit | edit source]

Flying Ghouls can fly, unlike their Ghoul counterparts.

Ghouls devour the flesh of corpses and hunger for that of the living. Their claws can cause paralysisparalysis, and they are immune to PoisonPoison.

They are immune to Demonspirit MadnessDemonspirit Madness. This prevents them from being driven MadMad due to a failed Wisdom saving throw when the summoner wears Abyss Beckoners. Their Claws attack has a fixed save DC of 10 to Paralyse the target.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

They can be created through the level five variant of the Animate DeadAnimate Dead spell, Animate Dead: Flying GhoulAnimate Dead: Flying Ghoul.
