Spiders are a type of Beast and non-playable Race in Baldur's Gate 3.

About spiders

Eight-legged, spindly, and generally awful.

Spiders are a type of arthropod who can create Web Surfaces. They have the passives Darkvision Darkvision and Web Walker Web Walker.

Spider are often kept by Drow, as familiars or mounts. The most influential drow goddess, Lolth, is also known as the Queen of Spiders. In Lolth cultures, killing spiders is forbidden.


Spiders can be spoken to using Speak with Animals Speak with Animals. As well, a spider companion, Wolf Spider Companion Wolf Spider Companion, is available to Beast Master Beast Masters.
