Doppelgangers are a non-playable race and type of Monstrosity in Baldur's Gate 3.
Overview
Doppelgangers can completely transform their appearance to mimic almost any Humanoid creature. They refer to themselves as Shallar. They will disguise themselves as other humanoids, then try to enemies by reverting to their true form. Successfully ambushing an enemy allows them to use their multiattack.
