Overview
Shadow-Cursed Vine Blights, like its brethren the Shadow-Cursed Shambling Mound and the Shadow-Cursed Needle Blight, conceal themselves within the surrounding vegetation in order to ambush passersby. The party must pass a DC 30 Perception check to spot these ambush parties and avoid being surprised.
Combat
During the Shadow-Cursed Shambling Mound fight, blights will heavily prioritize using their restraining abilities. Since the Shambling Mound can instantly kill a restrained target with , getting restrained can be deadly. As a result, if a party member is targeted by , you should prioritize breaking free.
