As a result, if a party member is targeted by {{SAI|Constrict}}, you should prioritize breaking free.


This can be done by breaking the blight's [[concentration]]. Blights have a fairly low [[Constitution]] modifier of +2, so breaking concentration with damage can be fairly reliable. Allies can also be freed from their restraints by spending an action using {{SAI|Help}}.

Shadow-Cursed Vine Blight is a blight Plant creature found in the Shadow-Cursed Lands in Act Two.

Overview

Shadow-Cursed Vine Blights, like its brethren the Shadow-Cursed Shambling Mound and the Shadow-Cursed Needle Blight, conceal themselves within the surrounding vegetation in order to ambush passersby. The party must pass a DC 30 Perception check to spot these ambush parties and avoid being surprised.

Combat

During the Shadow-Cursed Shambling Mound fight, blights will heavily prioritize using their restraining abilities. Since the Shambling Mound can instantly kill a restrained target with Devour Devour, getting restrained can be deadly. As a result, if a party member is targeted by Constrict Constrict, you should prioritize breaking free.
