Spiders are a type of arthropod that can create Web surfaces.
Spider are often kept by Drow, as familiars or mounts. The most influential drow goddess, Lolth, is also known as the Queen of Spiders. Cultures that revere Lolth forbid killing spiders.
Non-hostile Spiders can be spoken to using Beast Master Rangers.
